It is an act where you try to make someone think a certain way. It could be as simple as trying to make someone give you money, like what we did in my ELO class, or getting a person to stop smoking.
These are the most commonly used techniques for persuasion.
- Humor- funny or crazy stuff that makes the viewers smile or laugh.
- Macho- powerful, bold, daring, big muscles- usually males. Can cary weapons or be in tough and dangerous situations.
- Friends- a group or people that are having fun and doing things together.
- Family- mom, dad, children, aunt, uncle, cousins or a family.
- Fun- people are doing fun things and they're smiling, laughling and having a good time.
- Nature- trees, sky, flowers, ocean, volcanoes, etc. The event is hapening outside.
- Sexy- focuses on physical images of a person, usually females. They might wear revealing clothes, or atcting flirty.
- Cartoon- animated, often funny and used for unrealistic ideas.
- Celebrity- athlete, singer, actor, actress etc. Someone who people recognizes very easily.
- Wealth- jewelry, big houses and other very expensive items.
